How do I create a free account on Xome.com and the Xome Auctions app?

Click the "Create Free Account" button at the top right of any page and you’ll be guided step-by-step through the process.

From the Xome Auctions mobile app, you can click the ‘Create Account’ button on the main login page.

Why do I need to create an account?

Creating an account is the first step to being able to participate in auction events. In addition, once you have an account, you’ll have deeper access to all that Xome has to offer including the ability to save filtered searches and receive customized property lists and notifications.

What is account verification?

Account verification is integral to participating in Xome Auction events. Verifying a Xome Auctions account can help to mitigate the risks of fraud. It helps to protect the morality of our auctions because we want to ensure that all of our users are genuine.

Why is it necessary to verify my account?

We take the security of our customer’s information very seriously. In order to properly safeguard your information, we require account verification prior to participation in auction activities. Account verification also allows our auctioneers to assist with pre-auction, live auction, and post-auction related activities. Account verification ensures that only authentic bidders are signing up for Xome Auction accounts.

What are my account verification options?

Email: Verification via email grants you full access to place bids, submit pre-auction offers, and use Own It Now feature.

SMS: Verification by mobile phone is optional. Xome highly recommends mobile phone verification to ensure auctioneers can assist throughout the auction lifecycle.

How can I request an email verification message?

Most users have gone through the verification process as part of their initial account creation. If you have not verified your account, you can request a verification message by clicking the "Complete Verification" link found at the top of any auction page (any page on xome.com with /auctions in the URL). If after 5 minutes you have not received a verification email, please check your spam folder and verify that your account email address is correct.

How do I successfully verify my email address?

Once you have received the verification email from auctions@emails.xome.com , click on the "Email Verification" link in the email.

Why does the email verification link in the email sent to me not work?

If the email verification link isn’t working, it’s most likely because the link has expired or has already been used. You can request a new verification email by clicking the "Complete Verification" link found at the top of any auction page (any page on xome.com with /auctions in the URL).

What if I need to change the email address the verification email is sent to?

Click the "Complete Verification" link at the top of any auction page (any page on xome.com with /auctions in the URL). In the box labeled "Email" click on the pencil icon to change the email address. Once updated, click "Send Email".

How can I request an SMS/Text verification message?

Click the "Complete Verification" link at the top of any auction page (any page on xome.com with /auctions in the URL) and select "Send Text".

How do I successfully verify via SMS/text?

Input the 6-digit verification code sent to your mobile device via text on the Auction Account Verification page and click "Submit".

Why does the 6-digit verification code sent via SMS/text not work?

The 6-digit verification code might have expired or may have already been used. You can request a new verification code be sent to you via text by clicking the "Complete Verification" link found at the top of any auction page (any page on xome.com with /auctions in the URL) and clicking "Send Text".

What if I need to change the mobile phone number the verification is sent to?

After logging in to your account, click on your name in the top right corner of any page on xome.com/auctions and select "My Profile" in the drop down to edit any of your account information.

Who do I contact for assistance when creating an account?

How do I search for properties?

You can access both MLS listings and auction properties from the Xome home page. Click "Buy" for MLS listings and "Auction Only" for auction properties. You can also visit xome.com/auctions and use the search bar to find properties by state, city, zip, neighborhood, or even school zone. Already have a Xome account? You can select ‘Search Auctions’ from the Auctions dropdown menu to start searching for auction properties.
