ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

WELCOME TO BELLEWOOD. There are two houses located on this property, and the first one is the main house. It is a two-story reproduction 1880's farmhouse custom built by the designer/owner. Wide pine planks 14 ft long, a few vintage windows, & some vintage interior doors add to the appearance that this is an old farmhouse. There are 2500 sq ft of living space, three bedrooms, the two main ones upstairs are the master suite and the guest room suite. Both have full baths, with claw foot tubs, the guest bath has a pedestal sink, and painted wood floors. Master bath has a separate shower, along with the claw foot tub, there is a custom built double sink cabinet/shelf, designed and hand built by the owner, beadboard on one wall, painted pine plank floor, huge walk in closet, and a gas fireplace in the bedroom area. Lighting is either antique, vintage, or reproduction, so the look is not jarred much by modern elements. The third âœbedroomâ is technically a loft bedroom, can be used as a sitting room. Stairs, closed off with an antique door, go up to the third floor, which is an unfinished attic. This could be finished off into two more bedrooms. The exterior is also all wood, pine plank board and batten with a metal roof, steep pitched (10/12) and very authentic-looking. The wood floors are all pine plank throughput the house, baths included. Some are painted and some are stained. Walls are mostly Sheetrock and recently painted. The house has electric and propane for heating and cooling (central heat and air). There is city water and it has a septic system. The land is heavily wooded, except right around the house, though there is still plenty of shade. There is a running creek that is the northern border of the property that contains 60 plus acres. There are established blueberry bushes, a pear tree, a couple of fig trees, a huge magnolia and some Japanese maples planted by the owners. Out front is the 3 acre pond/lake, stocked with catfish and bream. The dam crosses over to the smaller house on the property, perfect for use as a mother in law cabin or a guesthouse, or even a writerâs retreat. It is a pretty house, 894 sq feet, wood board and batten siding, wood windows and a shingle roof. It has a front porch and a back porch. Inside there is a living/dining room, with a big brick fireplace. Coming in through the front door there is a door to the nice sized bedroom, and a door to the one bathroom. The bath has a tub/shower and a large vanity, a shelved closet for linen storage, and another door to the galley kitchen. This all white kitchen has two pantry areas and custom-built beadboard upper and lower cabinets, enhancing the country flavor of the little cabin. There are stairs leading up to a loft bedroom with two closets and a storage area. This house has beautiful polished pine floors everywhere except in the loft bedroom where the floors are painted. The ceiling in the living/dining area is a full two-story height. There are numerous wood framed windows, several with a view of the pond/lake. This house is all electric with a heat pump for cooling and heating. Water is from the well, and the house is on a septic system. It is a beautiful property and there is peace and quiet here, a place to really relax and observe nature, and it is a kidâs paradise with the creek and woods and the pond/lake to swim in and go fishing. You will love being thereâ¦Don't miss out on this one of a kind gem, call your favorite realtor today. This listing includes Key#21799 / Parcel #430203000000100500
