Come and experience four seasons of mountain living. Check out this charming Cedar Lodge Cabin located in the mountain community of Angelus Oaks. Cabin sits at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac on a lot totaling approximately 1 acre. Imagine waking up and stepping outside a large trek deck with beautiful mountain views that runs the length of the front and side of the house. The large, main room house consists of an open living room, newer carpet, laminate flooring, cedar pine high ceiling, tall rock fireplace, dining area, and kitchen. Off a central hallway are the full bathroom, utility room with newer washer/dryer unit, and 2 large bedrooms. The lower level has a separate ground level partially-finished basement which can be converted into an extra living quarters with its own separate entrance. Home is near Jenks Lake, The Oaks Restaurant, The Country Store, San Bernardino Peak, San Gorgonio (Greyback) Mountain. This is also the scenic back route to Big Bear Lake. This cabin home offers so much more. Come make us an offer we can’t refuse!
First thing you will notice is that when you drive up to the house, parking is on the same level as the main part of the house. This is very desirable when it comes to carrying groceries and firewood into the house. House was built in 1967 but you would not know it due to the upgrades that have been done, while still keeping the charm of a mountain cabin. House is on two lots and they will be purchased together and there is two shares of local water stock. Now for the features: Electric, central heat and air AND a propane furnace. 220 volt electric service. Separate electrical generator, with it's own panel, to keep electricity to the whole house in times of a power outage. Dual pane windows. Water softener. Roof is around 5 years old. Lots of insulation in the ceiling and walls. Artificial turf in key portions of the back yard. Fully fenced back yard. Above ground pool. Private, outdoor hot tub. Main floor master bedroom. (At the time of this writing, it is in the process of a remodel. When done, it will have barn doors and should be double the size that it is now. This will be finished before the sale is complete). Two bedrooms downstairs. There is a roll down projector and built in surround sound in the living room. All in all, this is a fine example of what a mountain cabin should be. Perfect for a weekend getaway or join our mountain community and live here year round.
Imagine looking out the picture windows, from your master bedroom, and taking in the unobstructed beauty of the local forest. Imagine having your morning cup of coffee on the back deck and actually feeling like you are part of the woodland around you. Imagine you own apple orchard. Imagine sitting snugly, in front of the fireplace, while the winter storm closes in outside. Well, you do not have to imagine as this cabin features this and much more. Cabin features a remodeled kitchen and laundry room. The master bedroom has a walk in closet that runs the length of the room. Dual pane windows and a new roof are also recent upgrades that have been done. Fireplaces are in the master bedroom and in the family room. Cabin has a tankless water heater. Storage and workshop, with a cement floor located under the cabin. If this is not enough, there is a big unit, with a bathroom, under the master bedroom. Currently used for a game room/guest bedroom but could be converted into a couple of bedrooms or a "mother in law" unit. More pictures to follow.
