It retains the original layout in addition to including the flooring, the 18th century 3 story-stringer staircase, interior first-floor shutters and federal wainscoting. Liberty Hall...later called The Edmondson House... is extremely impressive as it boasts a large well-proportioned Ballroom to the left of the principal entrance. The long windows in the Ballroom extend almost to the floor. The Ballroom fireplace is graced by a particularly delicate mantle with a tray molding. Behind the Ballroom is a side entrance to the yard as well as to the utility room and powder room. To the right of the Ballroom is a beautiful first floor en-suite entered from the main hallway. Next is a lovely dining area which connects the main house to what was originally the "out kitchen" which is totally intact, having never been damaged by fire.
