A short time later, while living in Oxford, an article about the houses appeared in a Southern Living issue. The plans provided the flexibility to determine materials, the kitchen design and interior features. Siding is cypress; floors are heart pine. Baseboard, crown molding, window trim, transom, living room columns are attributable to the builder, Joe Balderson. Interiors colors are based on Martha Stewart's Araucana Colors series.'
