Xome® has brought the process of buying, selling or renting your home online through its website and mobile applications. However, in order for you to conduct business or otherwise transact with Xome Inc. and any of Xome’s current and future affiliates that provide settlement services through our Xome Concierge® service, xome.com website or Xome mobile applications (“Xome”; “we”; “us”; “our”), we will need to provide you with information “in writing” from time to time, which means documents that you are entitled to receive on paper.
For your convenience and ours, we would like to provide all of this information to you electronically and permit you to sign necessary documents and return the same to us electronically, but we need your consent to receive, exchange and sign documents as a part of the registration process.
Here's what you should know regarding ESIGN and your consent:
- You have the right to withdraw your consent to receive and sign documents electronically, at no cost to you, at any time by emailing us at email@example.com. Any withdrawal will be effective only after we have a reasonable period of time to process your withdrawal. Once your withdrawal is effective, you will not be able to receive or sign documents electronically or have electronic documents uploaded and stored automatically to your "My Account ? Documents" page. Your withdrawal of consent will not apply to any documents delivered or signed prior to the effective date of your withdrawal.
- In order to help ensure that you receive your documents, you agree to promptly notify us of any change in your email or other electronic address. You may update your contact information at any time by editing your account information online through our website or mobile applications or by calling our Xome Concierge service, toll-free, at 844-400-XOME (9663).
- You have the right to receive a paper copy of any document that we provide to you electronically. You can print these documents directly from the "My Account - Documents" section of our website. If you do not wish to print a document, we can send you a copy via regular mail. Please call us at 844-400-XOME should you wish to receive a paper copy of any document. We will not charge you to obtain your first copy of any document; subsequent requests for duplicate copies may incur a charge for our out-of-pocket printing and mailing expenses.
- This disclosure and your consent applies to any document you receive or sign in any transaction with Xome or any of our current or future affiliates and will remain in effect until you withdraw your consent by e-mailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org
Any device you use to receive or sign documents must meet the following minimum hardware and software specifications:
Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Mac OS X.
Local, electronic storage capacity to retain Documents or a printer to print them.
A valid email account and software to access that email account.
Final release versions of Internet Explorer 7.0 or above (Windows only); Mozilla Firefox 3.0 or above (Windows and Mac); Safari 3.0 or above (Mac OS only); Google Chrome 5.0 or above.
Apple iOS 4.0 or above. Android 2.2 or above.
Acrobat® or similar software will be required to view and print PDF files.

If we update our hardware or software requirements in a way that means you are unlikely to access or retain your electronic documents, we will give you notice of the updated hardware or software requirements. As a part of the consent tied to this disclosure, you also consent to be contacted via phone call or text message by Xome to discuss your transactions with or through Xome and its affiliates using the phone number you provided as a part of your registration or real estate transaction
